“Reflexologist Montmorency”: that's what someone types on their phone one evening when they want a session close to home. Are you a reflexologist in Montmorency or a neighboring town? What they find then depends on very little: your Google listing, your booking link, two lines about parking. Let's follow one booking from start to finish to see what needs preparing at each step.

Reflexologist in Montmorency: who is looking for you?

The town had 21,763 residents in 2023. Three pointers, taken from Insee and the town's website, show what your calendar should look like.

  • Working people who are away during the day. The town offers 4,481 jobs for 9,553 employed residents. More than half of them necessarily work elsewhere. For them, a session fits in the evening or on Saturday.
  • Retirees who are available. 24.6% of residents aged 15 or over are retired, and 4,180 people are 65 or over. They can come during the day, and some will prefer to call.
  • Train stations in neighboring towns. The town's website points to Enghien-les-Bains (line H) or Ermont-Eaubonne (RER C), both connected by the bus network. So many of your clients will come by bus or by car, and parking matters.

These figures don't tell you how many reflexologists already work around you. Look at your direct competition before setting your time slots and prices.

Claire's journey, from the search to the session

Let's take a made-up example that stays true to the profession. A reflexologist sees clients at a practice in the center of Montmorency three days a week. The rest of the time, she makes home visits in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, Deuil-la-Barre and Andilly. Claire works in Paris and gets home late.

Les cinq étapes d'une réservation chez un réflexologue : la recherche, la fiche Google, la page de réservation, le rappel, puis l'arrivée au cabinet
Five moments, each with something to prepare.

Tuesday, 9:15 pm: the Google listing

Claire types her search. Google shows her a map and a few business listings. If yours exists, with your address or area and photos of the room, she has enough to decide. That leaves the link. In its “Bookings” section, your Google Business Profile accepts up to 10 links, including a preferred link shown first. Without that link, at 9:15 pm, all Claire has is a number to call, and you won't answer.

9:18 pm: the booking page

Claire lands on your page. She books without creating an account: she chooses the session, the day and the time, then leaves her details. Three settings make the difference:

  • Clear names. “Foot reflexology at the practice (1 hr)” means something to everyone. A longer first session, with time to talk, can have its own duration.
  • One location per service. The “client's choice” option offers every location at once: practice, video, phone and home visit. For the practice and home visits only, create two services. The free plan allows two; with a separate first session you need three, so a paid plan or the trial.
  • The right hours. A new account starts with 9 am–6 pm, Monday to Friday. Open Saturday morning or an evening, or Claire won't find anything.

Claire takes Saturday at 10 am. If you ask for a deposit, she pays it online at that moment, on your own Stripe account.

Friday: the reminder

An email reminder goes out the day before, even on the free plan. With a paid plan or during the trial, you can add a text message and choose the timing, up to 3 reminders per appointment.

Saturday, 9:50 am: parking

This detail matters in Montmorency. According to the town, the blue zone is free, with a mandatory parking disc for 1 hour 30 minutes. It applies Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 7 pm, and on Sunday from 9 am to 12:30 pm (suspended in August). A first session of an hour and a quarter, with the welcome and the time to put shoes back on, leaves no margin. The town center has more than 350 parking spaces: check which ones require the disc. The paid underground car park on place Mendès-France is open day and night.

Write this in the service description, which appears on the booking page. Check these rules on the town's website, because they may change.

Can I put it on my website, Instagram and Google?

Yes, everywhere: it's the same link, and you don't have to change websites. One link is enough, and your time slots stay up to date from a single place.

  • Google: on your listing, in the “Bookings” section.
  • Instagram: in your bio, through “Edit profile”, then “Links”.
  • Your website: a “Book” button or an embedded calendar, on every plan, with a plugin for WordPress.
  • The practice: a QR code to print, for the waiting room or your business cards.

Practice or home visits: what should you declare to Google?

Your situation changes what Google accepts. Here are its guidelines, read on November 4, 2026, with the matching setting on Calendrio.

Your situationOn your Google listingOn Calendrio
Practice that receives clientsPublic address, with permanent signage in your name; no hours if you see clients by appointment onlyOn-site service, directions in the description
Practice and home visitsAddress and service area, with the same signage and a location staffed during your hours, if you list anyTwo services, one on-site, the other at the client's home
Home visits only, based at your homeRemove your address and list towns or postal codes (20 areas at most)Home-visit service, maximum distance, travel fee
Coworking spaceAllowed only with clear signage, staff and clients received during opening hoursOn-site service, specifying the floor or door

If you see clients by appointment only, Google asks you not to list hours. If your practice has real opening hours, show only those when you are there. Without permanent signage, Google asks you to switch to a service area, and a simple mailing address isn't enough. For home visits, travel time is blocked before and after the session, and the address the client enters is compared with your maximum distance. The door code, floor and parking stay on their record for next time. The travel fee is shown before booking and paid directly to you: it doesn't go through online payment.

Words to avoid on your listing and your page

When you want to be found, it's tempting to say everything. There are three limits to know.

  • The listing name. Google asks for your real name and refuses mentions of services or location. “Reflexology Relaxation Montmorency Cheap” is likely to cause problems if that isn't your business name.
  • Health vocabulary. Onisep, the French public career guidance agency, presents reflexology as unregulated and outside the healthcare professions: no diagnosis, and no replacing a healthcare professional. The DGCCRF, the French consumer protection authority, found irregularities in 66% of cases in its October 2020 to September 2021 investigation of some fifty practices, including reflexology: health claims, medical codes, logos resembling the caduceus, listings in directories of healthcare professionals. On June 19, 2026, the Conseil d'État also annulled the approval of the AFNOR standard on reflexologists' services, because it tended to present reflexology as a therapeutic method, at the risk of confusion with the healthcare professions. This decision doesn't settle the practice of reflexology, but it shows where the line runs.
  • Prices. Service-public, the French government's public information site, points out that clients must know the price before committing, without having to ask for it, including online and for home visits, extra charges included.

If you're in doubt about your situation, ask your federation or a legal adviser.

Sample description to adapt:

“One-hour foot reflexology session, at the practice in Montmorency or at your home in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, Deuil-la-Barre and Andilly. You settle in comfortably, we talk for a few minutes, then the session takes place in a calm setting. Price: €[amount]. Travel fee for home visits: €[amount]. Reflexology is a wellness practice: it doesn't replace medical advice or medical care.”

What about clients who prefer to call?

Claire's mother, retired and living in the upper part of town, may never visit your page. That's not a problem. You take her call between two sessions and add the appointment to the same calendar: the slot disappears from the online page. Without an email address, she won't receive the reminder that way: it will take a text message to her mobile, with a paid plan or the trial.

If she doesn't have a car, offer her a home session. She can also ask the CCAS, the town's social services office, about the M'Bus, the town's on-demand transport for people over 60. That way you keep both audiences, without two calendars.

  • Open slots in the evening or on Saturday: more than half of the town's working residents work elsewhere.
  • Put your booking link on your Google listing, then everywhere else.
  • Tell Google your real situation: practice, service area or both.
  • Say where to park: Montmorency's blue zone has a 1 hour 30 minute limit.
  • Describe how the session goes and the price, without health vocabulary or promises.

What Calendrio brings to a reflexologist in Montmorency

Calendrio gives you a booking page in your name, session management at the practice and at clients' homes, and a link to paste everywhere. The free plan includes 2 services, 30 contacts, online payment and the email reminder the day before; the Pro plan, at €39 excl. VAT per month, removes these limits and adds text message reminders. Calendrio doesn't create your Google listing, doesn't guarantee any position in the results and doesn't offer a health questionnaire. Other professions are covered on the wellness practitioners page.

Create your page for free: until November 30, 2026, the trial goes from one month to three months with this link, with no credit card and no commitment. The team also sets up the booking page in person, near Enghien-les-Bains, for founding businesses and practitioners, limited to the first 10.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put it on my website, Instagram and Google?
Yes. Your booking link goes on your Google listing, in the “Bookings” section, and in your Instagram bio. On your website, you add a “Book” button or an embedded calendar, on every plan, with a plugin for WordPress. At the practice, a printed QR code does the same job. You don't need to change websites.
Does a home-visit reflexologist have to show their address on Google?
No, not if they don't see anyone at home. Google's guidelines ask you to remove the address from the listing and enter a service area, by towns or postal codes, with 20 areas at most. If you also see clients at a practice, you can show its address and an area, provided you have permanent signage there and can be reached there during your hours, if you list any.
Can I add Montmorency to the name of my Google listing?
Only if it's part of your real business name. Google asks for the real name, the one on your storefront, website or documents, and refuses added locations or services. The town shows up in your address or service area.
Is reflexology a healthcare profession?
No. Onisep presents it as an activity that is unregulated to date, and neither a healthcare profession nor a paramedical occupation. A reflexologist doesn't make a diagnosis and doesn't replace a healthcare professional. So describe how the session goes rather than an expected effect, and point out that reflexology doesn't replace medical advice.
